I DON'T WANT TO BE COOL, I WANT TO BE ANNA DELLO RUSSO

"When you don't feel to dress means that you are depressed. You need a FASHION SHOWER."

I have a Anna Dello Russo period. But I don't think it's only a period, I think this is love. I don't even know how to describe her with words. I don't think words can express my obsession for her, the editor in chief at Vogue nippon. In my eyes, she is the only one in the fashion industry these days who actually has the gut to have FUN with fashion!

I relate to her in the way that she says that by fashion she can "escape reality".

So many in fashion wear black. SCANDAL! One will never be special wearing black. Black is easy and so approved. ADR is ADR because she DEARS TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD.

"If you like to be relaxed, you will never get the LOOK. Fashion is always UNCOMFORTABLE!"

ADR forever.

CRAVINGS

Hello gorgeous jacket. I think I have some kind of feather obsession/crush at the moment. This one is from Tiger of Sweden.

SKY HIGH

The secret is revealed. Say hello to my YSL Tribtoo pumps! I'm not far away from touching the sky while wearing them, as the heel height is 15 cm. Ah, flawlessness.

PURPLE

Some detail close-ups of what I was wearing today, plus a little sneak peek of my new feather jacket! I love it, and I'm pretty sure it will become a very good friend of mine now that the winter is getting closer.

LET THE CHERRIES BLOSSOM

I went to Jaeger with Marthe to see the shoes I posted, and I was SO disappointed! They were like only 5 inches! They didn't look like the shoes in the picture at all! I felt like someone really had been mocking me.

So what do you do when shoes disappoint you? LIKE YOU DO WITH MEN. YOU GO FOR ANOTHER ONE!

Vivenne Westwood for Melissa. They smell like cherries as well! Like candy! I'M IN LOVE.

HOME

So, my feet are standing on Norwegian ground again. Boring. London was beyond amazing! It was like being on another planet. The citizens there were so much more nice than Norwegians, and they didn't hesitate at all to give random people compliments. It felt so unusual to me, since I'm very used to getting weird looks. That was actually one of the things I missed about Norway! The "you-look-like-a-freak-looks" (They really amuse me). People here don't gaze at you in an ugly way if you're standing out. I think I've found out where I belong now, and I'm really topped up with new inspiration! You should look forward to loads of London updates, but in the meantime you can fasten your eyes on this;

Kari is no longer the only one with a secret from YSL. To be continued..

LONDON CALLING

I'm very aware of the fact that I've been a really lousy blogger lately, but as I said earlier; I'm still pretty uninspired. London is screaming my name at the moment, and I couldn't be more happy about that I will be leaving Norway for a couple of days. The shoe rapists will be reunited!

Yes, this picture will be the inspiration of today.

MODEL OFF DUTY

Abbey Lee Kershaw's looks often take my breath away, and this one is no exception. That jacket is amazing! I need to find a lookalike when I'm in London next week. A burgundy red one wouldn't be bad. (And yes, I'M GOING TO LONDON TO VISIT KARI! CAN'T WAIT! Why isn't it Thursday 21st already?)

FISH

I once saw this blogger with a fabulous fish-shaped clutch, and I just had to try making one myself. Hah! I love putting fashion and humor together. The result turned out to be a little bit scruffy, but that's just charming. I'm picturing it as the perfect ice breaker at a party or something!

GREY SUEDE

Just another self-made thing. Inspired by the Proenza Schouler PS1 bag. I haven't quite decided whether I should put on a shoulder strap or not yet, but time will show. What do you think?

CRAVINGS

This Stine Goya sweater is awesome! Wouldn't mind having it hanging in my closet. I love the braided details. It would have been fun trying to make a similar sweater as a DIY-project.

I also went to a fabric store earlier this week, so I'm currently sewing some other new stuff. Stay tuned! I'll show it to you as fast as it's done.

FREE LIKE A BIRD

My God Karl says that fashion has the shortest life - approximately 6 months. For me this seasons shearling jacket is already dead. IT BORES ME TO DEATH! It's so boring when everyone has the same jacket. Take a walk in Oxford St. and you will see my point.

My winter warmer...? FEATHERS!

Bought at Topshop, 75£. The 20% student dicsount rocked. More pictures of my bird to come!

WEDNESDAY

I'm in a sort of non-inspirational state of mind at the moment, and I don't like it. (Even the title of this post is uncreative!) It feels like I'm wearing the same clothes every day, and my wardrobe is completely empty. Hate it when that feeling comes crawling!

An attempt of getting some new inspiration. I'm currently in the mood for something red. This balenciaga bag wouldn't be totally wrong.

10 TIPS FOR PEOPLE WHO WANTS TO STUDY FASHION

I love to read Anna Dello Russo's rule lists! Inspired by my fashion idol, I wrote a tip list for ya people who consider to study fashion.

1. If you don’t know who you are/shy/bad at targeting yourself - you have nothing to do in the fashion industry.

2. Don’t go into your fashion degree with a bitchy attitude among your fellow students. You still have got a lot to learn - so learn from each other. There will be plenty of other time being a bitch in your further fashion career.

3. Your tutors are holy. They are in contact with Haute Couture.

4. If you are staring at your fellow students outfit of admiration - SMILE so he or she knows that you adore it instead of pity it.

5. Evil jealousy is a sign of weakness - that does not a confident fashion enthusiast make.

6. You have to be an innovator. Outfits; people will easily notice if you’ve seen your whole outfit BEFORE YOU HAD THE GUT TO PUT IT ON YOURSELF. About essays; copying is as illegal as bad fabrics at Fashion Week. YUK.

7. Be humble. You know nothing. Yet.

8. You can have a fabulous designer bag. Nobody will care - IT TAKES MORE THAN THAT. Louis Vuitton logos head to toe is not passion for fashion, it's desperate.

9. When boring; flirt with your clothes and your school day will be like a date.

10. Have fun, fashion is not only for serious matters!

DIY, part 2

So, there you have it! My white leather clutch. I'm very satisfied. It was super easy to sew as well! Will look good as a contrast to any dark outfit. You can't really see the actual size here, but more pictures of this clutch will probably pop up later on.

DIY

I bought some white leather yesterday, and decided to sew myself an oversized clutch. This is a little preview! I'll show you the rest later.
