HANNELI

Hanneli Mustaparta is a true inspiration, and her style is impeccable. She always puts this great personal twist into her simple outfits.

WEEKDAY

Went to a Weekday store opening in Trondheim the other day! The store had three floors filled with cool clothes. We weren't allowed to shop, but free beer and chocolate compensated for that. :-) A beige, long asymmetrical cardigan especially caught my eye. I think I need to get my hands on that one.

UGH

What do you do when it's minus twenty degrees outside? I have big problems with getting dressed when it's as insanely cold as that. Every morning in the last couple of days, I basically just have been throwing half of my closet on before I leave te house. Makes me feel like a hybrid between a hobo and a snowman. Bad. I think I have some sort of style crisis at the moment. Even worse. Luckily christmas is coming up! Have bought myself an early christmas present as well, I'll show it to you as fast as it arrives. Hint: Yves Saint Laurent.

By the way, forgot to show you this dotted shirt I bought a while ago! Got it from a secondhand store.

A LITTLE STORY

Once upon a time, two small town girls decided to start a blog. Both of these girls were sick and tired of the high number of narrow minded citizens living in this town. They wanted to have a 'place' where they could say anything and wear anything and actually get positive reactions from people because of that. One of the girls was moving to London as well, and wanted to have the ability to communicate with her friends, family and familiar faces back home. The girls wanted to create a blog where they could share their passion and inspire other people.

After a little while, one of the girls came up with a domain name for the blog. That name popped up in her mind after her father came in to her room and stepped on one of her shoes. "Don't rape my shoe, dad!", she said, and suddenly she had a great idea. She said to the other girl; "I know what to call our blog! Shoe rapists!". In a heartbeat, shoerapists.blogspot.com was baptised and born.

Now, after about nine weeks later, over 11 000 visitors have found their way in to this blog.
We just wanted to say thank you so much for all your support and comments so far! It's super fun that our blog has reached a larger amount of visitors than the amount of people living in our hometown.

FUZZY

I'm currently looking for a pink and fuzzy sweater like these ones. Warm and comfortable, yet fashionable. Perfect for the upcoming winter!

FREEZE

I was actually planning to show you what I wore earlier today, but now that Kari posted the most fabulous outfit ever, I think I'll pass. (Only had like 3 seconds to get dressed this morning, and the temperature is way below zero at the moment, so the outfit wasn't exactly that inspiring or special anyway). That is why I'll just post the most exciting thing I wore today; my shoes!

RANDOMNESS

I like my YSL heels.

I like the milky white snow laying on the ground right now.

I like this shelf hanging in my room.

I like heavy jewelry.

Things I simply just like at the moment.

A SHADE OF PURPLISH RED

Long time no see, I know. Especially from you, Kari??

I found the perfect dark, burgundy red lipstick the other day. Have been looking for a color like this for a while now. It's a bit darker in real life than what it looks like in this picture.

(Note to self: I'm in desperate need of a new camera. Tired of crappy photos)

I WISH

I wish I had a leopard printed coat/jacket/blazer-ish thing.

A DAY IN COVENT GARDEN

During my fabulous visit to London, me and Kari went to Covent Garden for lunch and vintage shopping.

We ate delicious cupcakes at Candy Cakes. Such a cosy little place! It looked like some sort of wonderland.

Earlier this day, Elle UK spotted us while we were strolling down Oxford street! (Yes, I'm still bragging about this. It felt very surreal.) Haven't found the pictures yet though, but I hope I will.
Oh, how I miss London.

I completely forgot to show you the other pair of shoes I bought when I was in London, so here they are! Got them on sale at Topshop.

Some of you asked if I could show you the whole feather jacket, so here you go! I think it looks a lot better in real life though.

GLITTERY

A girl needs a little sparkle when the weather turns grey. These stockings are fabulous, and definitely on my wish list! I need to look for a similar pair.

LANVIN FOR H&M

Okey, this video probably has been posted on about 99% of the world wide fashion blogs by now, but I had to post it here anyway. It looks like Lanvin for H&M is going to be the best designer/H&M collaboration I have ever seen!

AFTERNOON FUN

I think I need to wear this sweater from American Apparel more often. I kind of forget that it's hanging in my closet. Not a "typical me"-garment, but I like it. It just needs to be roughened up with black and a pair of leather shorts, and I'm good to go.
