When I woke up and looked outside the window earlier today, I coldn't believe the sight that met my puffy eyes. The snow has finally arrived! It couldn't be more perfect, considering that today is the first Sunday of Advent and all.

I WISH FOR A WHITE WINTER WONDERLAND

Because everything seems so much more pure and innocent when a layer of snow has hit the ground. And even if it is dark outside before dinnertime, the snow lights up the scariest shortcut on your way home. And now when Christmas is right around the corner, snow is essential for feeling the Christmas spirit. And, not to mention, snow softens the roughest gravel road, making it more high heel-friendly. Thumbs up for that!

Usually, I think blogging about recently shown collections is a tad unpersonal as the pictures accumulate on other blogs anyway, but what the heck. For Prada SS 2012 I'll make an exeption. THE CAR PATTERN! And the pleats. And the leather. Did I mention the car pattern? It all pleases my eyes, and I love the playfulness. Making myself a skirt with cars all over it suddenly sounded very appealing.

NOSTALGIA

As every little girl, I wanted to be a princess when I was younger. A princess fully equipped with silky hair, a beautiful smile and an extravagant and pompous dress. A princess that practically didn't have anything to worry about, except the fresh graze on her knee or the peeled off nail polish on her tiny fingers. A princess that couldn't quite grasp the meaning of why she had to finish all her vegetables at dinner, or why she only was allowed to eat candy on Saturdays. These pictures are undoubtedly taking me back to those days. Good times.
